A former beauty queen has gone from the spotlight on the runway to behind the bright lights on the freeway. The winner of 2005 Miss Arkansas, Eudora Mosby-Evans, has decided to take up trucking as her new career. In 2006, with a degree from UCA, Eudora crowned a new Miss Arkansas and turned to the real world for a job.

Unfortunately, Eudora was faced with environments of careers that she didn’t want to be in- such as in a cubicle, behind a computer, or on her feet all day. Instead of settling for a job, what did she do?

She says, “Well, we’ve tried everything else, might as well try trucks, maybe that will be a fit.”

Now her and her newly hitched husband, Larry Evans, take turns driving across the United States. They’ve seen 42 states so far, and are generally happy traveling together on their extended honeymoon.

Eudora warns though, “You think you know a person when you live with them. You hope you know them if you marry them. Get in a truck with them. Try that.”

Overall, trucking seems to fit this couple. Happy trucking to them both!
